Q: I cannot log in. What should I do?
A: Verify if you have
entered the login and password in correct case. If you still cannot
log in, contact
us.
Q: I forgot password. What should I do?
A: Go to your
association's log in-page and click on the Forgot Password link.
An e-mail with your password will be sent to your address from the
association's roster. If you do not receive the e-mail, contact
us with enough details to identify you (association's name and
your login or name)
Q: I don't know where to log in. What should I do?
A: Go to MLS
Login Web Site and find your association on the list. Click on
your association's name.
Q: How can I use my immobel web site?
A: You can use your immobel
web site as your primary web site or as to enhance your current web
site. If you plan to have immobel web site as your main personal
site, make sure you pick an easy-to-remember address for it.
If you already have a
web site, you can add a link on it that will direct your foreign
language customers to their language version. You can use the Update
your Language Bar™ option to show a nice row of flags.
You can also use immobel
web site as an IDX search for properties in your area. Pick the
Template for frames option and add the search module to your web
site.
Q: Do I have to set up immobel web page to display translated IDX listings on my web site?
A: Yes, you do have to set
up your immobel web site, even if you plan to use it only as search
module for your another web site. If you do not finish the setup
wizard, your page will not be available for viewing.
Q: What's my IDX link?
A: Immobel does not provide
a separate IDX link. If you want to have a link to IDX search on your
other web site, pick Template for frames for your immobel web
site, and use a link to your immobel web site as your IDX link.
Q: I want to link to my other web site. What should I do?
A: Immobel does not have
access to your other web site, and we cannot modify it to include
link to your immobel web site. You need to do this yourself or ask
you other web site admin or support to do it for you.
We prepared some HTML
code to show a nice set of flags linking to your immobel web site.
All you need to do is to log in on your immobel web site, click on
Update your Language Bar™ , and follow instructions to
copy and paste the code. Not all web site vendors allow custom HTML
code, consult you web site support.
Q: My photo will not upload. What can I do?
A: It's probably too big.
Try resizing it in a photo editing software or send
it to us.
Q: I have added links on “My links page” and they do not work. What should I do?
A: Check if the spelling is
correct. All links should have “http://” if front, for
example http://www.immobel.com/
Q: I want to know how many visitors view my web site. What should I do?
A: First you need to
register to a free hit counter account on separate web site. Do a
Google
search for “free hit counter” or use one of the
following: http://www.statcounter.com
This site will provide
you with a piece of code that you need to copy and paste to your
immobel web site. You can find the box to paste your code in the
immobel control panel, when you click on the following links: Make
changes to the site then Modify Advanced Options then
Setup hit counter
Q: Can I add custom page, blog, change colors to match my other web site?
A: Yes, your page can be
customized. This is not included in IDX web site package price and we
charge an additional fee for that. Contact
us for specific quote.
Q: After our broker site is completed, how much will it cost for updates to be made to the site?
A: For translations we will
need the word count and language list to prepare a quote. On
pictures, graphics and any layout changes, we bill at USD $90.00 per
hour for the actual time it takes. We can provide an estimate of
hours when we know what is to be done.
Q: I already have a website. What option do I need to choose for my immobel web site address?
A: If you already have a web site and only plan to use immobel as
secondary site (linked from the primary), you only need to select
"subdomain of www.immobel.com". The subdomain can be anything, it doesn't
have to be related to domain name.
Do not select Use domain you already own in this case.
Q: I already have bought a domain from another vendor. Can I use it for my immobel site?
A: Yes, just use the Use
domain you already own option. However you still need to update
domain settings at your domain vendor to make it work with your
immobel site. You will receive e-mail with instructions after
purchasing this option.
Q: Can I have multiple domain's pointing to my immobel web site?
A: Yes you can. Just use
the Purchase domain or Use domain you already own
function again.
Q: I purchased a domain from immobel.com and now I want to use it for another web site. What should I do?
A: Our policy is that we
maintain domains only for immobel web sites. Since the domain is
registered for you, you can transfer it out to another registrar
(like http://godaddy.com)
and use it for your other web site. For details contact
us.
Q: I don't know what domain name should I choose?
A: As a rule of thumb it's
better to choose a domain name indicating the region or location in
which you are specializing, because people usually search for
location, for example joplinhomes.net
or homesinjeffersoncity.com.
A: If you already have a
web site and plan to use immobel site as secondary, you don't need to
have a separate domain.
Q: Can I add search keywords to <meta> tags of my site?
A: Yes, you can. MRIS
agents have this option available under Advanced options.

Q: Can you add another language to your list?
A: Currently we do not plan
to add another language to our translation list. However, we collect
all suggestions for a new language and we'll take them into
consideration.
